Her Own Seamstress
March 2008
Since opening his gallery in early 1994 Bill has met so many good people in his downtown Saint Paul environment. He is drawn to positive personalities and a hard work ethic. Bill met Patricia Caldwell after he moved his gallery to the Alliance Bank Center. For eleven years she had worked for someone at a nearby sewing and clothing alteration business. One day while they were visiting she talked to Bill about her desire to start her own business. Bill was well aware of her work ethic and ability to work well with customers - he told her without hesitation she would do well on her own. Within several months they had perused the various downtown skyway level vacancies and within a year ‘Patricia’s Alterations and Sewing’ was a reality. Bill helped design and build-out her comfortable new space.

(June 2011: Patricia is now in her third successful year of doing business)
