Bill's second statue for St. Paul’s yearly tribute to Charles Shulz has generated great interest in its location on the Farm Credit Plaza "across the street from Bill's new gallery". The first two pictures below are blank sketches representing unfinished statues each artist is given to create a proposal for their individual Linus. Of the 400 proposals submitted 90 were selected for creation. Bill's proposal is seen in the second set of colored renderings and was accepted by Frauenshuh Companies, downtown St. Paul’s largest landlord.

Bill stands with Charles Shulz's friend Linus for which the cartoon character was named. The human Linus was a lifetime friend of Charles Shulz going back to their early days in St. Paul. He now lives in California and came to St. Paul to take part in the Linus festivities.
