LeDuc Mansion

“LeDuc Mansion”
Pen & Ink - 2002

The LeDuc mansion and estate completed in 1866, was the home of William and Mary LeDuc. The LeDuc's were prominent early settlers of Minnesota and played significant roles in the state's growth from territory to state. William traveled to New York for the Crystal Palace World's Fair and won acclaim for his presentation of Minnesota. He served as a volunteer officer and later General during the Civil War. After the war, the family was involved in many business ventures - including Minnesota's first railroad.
