H.H. Nelson House

One of the earliest and grandest structures built by an incoming settler to the remote stretches of northern Montana grasslands in the late 1800's was the H.H. Nelson House.
The ranch house, constructed primarily of Cottonwood Tree logs, was under construction for 5 years! Today this historic home is part of the Strommen family ranch. Mrs.Penny Strommen is a well known regional potter and owner of the downtown Glasgow retail store, "Nels Kent". She carries a fine selection of pottery, antiques, artwork (including Bill's) and antique jewelry in her landmark shop.
