A few years ago Bill drove to Denver to take the photographs needed to create this image. He rented a helicopter, with a pilot of coarse, to fly him around the city one early morning. Just as they were preparing to take flight Bill’s only camera jammed. After a few very frantic minutes he corrected the problem and they embarked upon a very enjoyable photo shoot to get “just the right angle” for his work.

This (pen & ink with pencil shading) skyline illustration is Bill’s most detailed to date. The State Capitol Building is featured beside the “Mile High” skyline, the front range of the Rocky Mountains form the backdrop.
